What is Shaolin Wing Chun?
Shaolin Wing Chun is a highly scientific combat system guided by maximum efficiency of time, space, and energy. It prioritizes structure, position, and movement over physical strength—honest geometry under pressure, trained as one continuous language of control.
It gives you the ability to restore harmony when aggression and violence threaten. The intent is to proactively control space, rather than reactively block, counter, attack, or defend. That seemingly small nuance removes a mental barrier and dramatically increases combat efficiency.
A Complete System
Shaolin Wing Chun covers all ranges of combat—not only close-range exchange, but a full continuum of skill:
What makes SWC unique, among other things, are the specialized skill sets trained to develop full-body harmony:
Chan Made Physical
Beyond practical application, Shaolin Wing Chun is also a physical expression of Chan. Under the stress of combat—or even competition—you are forced to live in the present moment. There is no dwelling in the past or planning what you will do later when punches and kicks are headed your way. In that pressure, practitioners learn to become present and act spontaneously, harmonizing with time, space, and energy. The art becomes a vehicle for self-realization.
From wandering to focused
I teach a complete system from an ancient lineage—designed to take a student from a “wandering” state to a “focused” one. Whatever your age or stage in life, this path can build confidence and become a lasting tool for self-mastery. When you are ready to train, reach out and we can begin. The Lineage Path

Invasion
The Manchurians invaded China and toppled the Ming Dynasty, creating an oppressive system and sparking centuries of resistance.
Refuge
Shaolin

Moy Yat
A disciple of Ip Man who moved to NYC in 1973, establishing Ving Tsun in the US with an emphasis on the "Kung Fu life."
Preserve
Benny Meng
Founder of the Ving Tsun Museum, Grand Master Meng dedicated his life to preserving the system’s science and Shaolin roots.

Next gen
Michael Dumas
A second-generation disciple bridging the gap between combat efficiency and internal meditation and Qigong.
I offer private lessons, group sessions, and seminars covering a broad range of topics from Meditation to Combat Science. I also appreciate meeting fellow practitioners to share notes and exchange knowledge.
